Terms and Conditions

  1. In order to have a professional massage at Aroga, there are some terms and conditions that apply. Implicitly, I assume that you have read and agree to these.
  2. From the moment you make an appointment, personal data (name, first name, phone number, e-mail address and billing address) are collected. In doing so, the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and the Aroga Privacy Policy apply.
  3. For an initial treatment, we hold a brief intake interview prior to the treatment. You are thereby responsible for the correctness of the (medical) information you provide during this interview or subsequent treatments. Naturally, the delivery of this information is entirely without obligation and only to support a customized and optimal execution of the massage treatment. This information will be kept confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties.
    • Aroga provides massage services, I am not a physician and do not make medical diagnoses, for that purpose you should consult your treating physician.
    • In some cases, massage is strongly discouraged or should not be done (e.g., in cases of flu and fever). For acute injuries, high blood pressure and some diseases, it is best to seek advice from your treating physician. When in doubt, I may possibly waive the treatment. In case of changes or evolution of your (medical) situation, you are responsible to communicate it to me in time.
  4. Appointments made prior can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours in advance by phone, email or WhatsApp. Appointments cancelled later or forgotten appointments may be charged. The same applies in the event of illness.
  5. As an individual, you pay at the time of the session. This can be done digitally through Payconiq or your banking app or in cash.
  6. You buy an Aroga gift certificate online at the Aroga website and pay online when ordering via Bancontact, Ideal and Credit card, PayPal or direct bank transfer. Upon receipt of payment, you will receive the gift certificate digitally. It is valid until the expiration date stated on it and is not renewable or redeemable for a new gift certificate.
  7. Companies are billed monthly. In doing so, the payment period is 14 days after the invoice is sent (digitally). Failure to make a timely payment may result in the use of a collection agency after reminders, with the customer being responsible for collection costs and any additional costs of court proceedings.
    • If an invoice is not paid on time, interest of 10% of the outstanding invoice amount, with a minimum of EUR 33, shall be payable by operation of law and without notice of default, and the invoice amount shall be increased by operation of law and without notice of default by liquidated damages equal to 10% of the outstanding invoice amount.
    • In case of late payment, all other sums due, even if not yet due, shall become immediately due and payable and this regardless of previously granted payment facilities. Any intervening late payments will not cause the lump-sum damages due to be recalculated.
    • Late payments will be charged first against interest, damages and costs due. Offset and set-off by the customer of invoices and/or amounts owed to Aroga, against invoices and/or amounts owed by Aroga to the customer, can only be done with the express written approval of Aroga.
    • If payment is not made on time, Aroga is entitled to suspend its further performance.
  8. Aroga is not responsible for damage, theft and/or loss of your personal belongings.
  9. Erotic or sensual massages are not offered and/or performed, you cannot go to Aroga for that.
  10. I reserve the right at all times to refuse persons for a massage or deny them access to my practice without giving a reason.
  11. The nullity of one of the clauses does not affect the validity of the remaining clauses.
  12. By agreeing to these terms, you also declare that you will not hold Aroga liable for any side and/or after-effects that may result from the massage treatment you have received.
  13. The terms and conditions and information listed are subject to change by Aroga at any time.
  14. Privacy terms and conditions apply
  15. In case of a judicial conflict, the district of Antwerp or for the peace court the canton of Zandhoven shall apply.
